At Phase2 Technology, a digital agency in Arlington, VA, I honed my ability to communicate and present complex ideas in a clear, compelling way. My time at Kroger deepened my understanding of how intricate systems interact and reinforced the role of design in making complexity feel effortless.

Though I’ve been designing longer than I’ve been teaching, I credit my soft skills to my time as a high school English teacher—where I mastered communication, presentation, empathy, and the pursuit of excellence.
